Several of Connacht's artisans gather together within the Scribal Guild to explore and celebrate the many creative elements of medieval manuscripts. They explore everything from the recreation of tools, mediums, and the styles of the period to engage in all aspects of this ancient art. Guild Mistress Melora organizes monthly gatherings for members to learn, teach and practice on solo and group projects. There are four levels of advancement (novice, apprentice, journeyman, master), and the purpose of the guild is to gain and share the knowledge and appreciation for the scribal arts, while striving to become masters in their own area of interest.
